Almost every AI event in this region happens downtown. That is a two-hour round trip on a weeknight, and most people running a business in Halton are not making that drive to hear a vendor talk.
So the person who can actually approve something works here, not at a head office two cities over. And they are working out what to do about AI on their own, mostly without anyone nearby to compare notes with.
HaltonAI is a room where those people talk to each other. Local, practical, and nobody is selling you anything.
